AeroPress Compatible Coffee Filters
Shop replacement coffee filters compatible with standard-size AeroPress coffee makers. Our range includes disposable paper microfilters, a reusable stainless-steel filter disc and a practical storage box for keeping round coffee filters clean, flat and organised.
Paper and metal filters produce slightly different results, so you can select the filtration method that best suits the flavour and body you prefer.
Paper Microfilters
Paper microfilters provide fine filtration during brewing, helping to prevent coffee grounds and fine particles from passing into the cup. They also retain more of the coffee oils than a metal filter, producing a smooth, clean and largely grit-free drink.
Our replacement paper microfilters are made in the UK and are available in convenient pack quantities, making them suitable for regular use at home, at work or while travelling.
Reusable Stainless-Steel Coffee Filter
Our reusable 63mm stainless-steel coffee filter disc provides an alternative to disposable paper filters. Its fine 35-micron filtration allows more of the coffee's natural oils to pass into the cup, generally producing a fuller-bodied drink than paper filtration.
The stainless-steel filter can be rinsed and reused after brewing. It is an economical option for customers who prefer a reusable filter or a richer coffee with more body.
Paper or Metal: Which Filter Should I Choose?
The best choice depends on the style of coffee you prefer:
- Paper filters: produce a cleaner, smoother cup with fewer oils and fine particles.
- Stainless-steel filters: allow more natural coffee oils through, creating a fuller-bodied drink.
Some coffee drinkers use paper filters for everyday brewing and change to a metal filter when they want greater body. Both options are simple to use and require no change to the basic brewing method.
Filter Compatibility
These products are intended for standard-size AeroPress-compatible coffee makers. They are not suitable for the larger AeroPress XL, which requires a different filter size.
Please check the dimensions and compatibility information shown on the individual product page before ordering, particularly when purchasing a reusable metal filter.
Storing Your Coffee Filters
Round paper filters can become curled, damaged or misplaced when stored loose. Our clear plastic storage box helps keep paper microfilters and reusable filter discs together, protected and ready for your next brew.
How Often Should Paper Filters Be Replaced?
Paper microfilters are designed primarily as disposable filters and can be replaced after each brew. The used coffee grounds and paper filter can then be removed together, making cleaning quick and convenient.
Reusable stainless-steel filters should be rinsed thoroughly after use so that coffee particles and oils do not accumulate in the fine openings.
AeroPress Filters and Espresso Puck Filters
AeroPress-compatible filters should not be confused with espresso puck filters. AeroPress filters are used in the filter cap of a manual coffee maker, whereas espresso puck filters are placed above the ground coffee inside a portafilter basket.

Need Help Choosing?
Choose paper microfilters for a smooth and clean cup, or select a reusable stainless-steel filter when you prefer greater body and more of the coffee's natural oils. Full dimensions, pack quantities and compatibility guidance are provided on each product page.
