Choosing the Correct Basket Coffee Filter Paper

Choosing the correct basket filter paper is important for achieving reliable brewing performance. The correct filter should match both the dimensions and shape of your coffee machine's filter basket.

Before ordering, check:

• Base diameter
• Overall laid-flat width
• Side depth
• The manufacturer's recommended filter size

Selecting the correct size helps ensure the filter sits securely within the basket during brewing while allowing an even flow of water through the coffee grounds.

White or Natural Brown Basket Filter Papers?

Our basket coffee filter papers are available in both white oxygen-whitened paper and natural brown paper, depending on the product selected.

Both options provide effective coffee filtration while allowing brewed coffee to flow through efficiently. The choice is largely a matter of personal preference and compatibility with your preferred brewing method.

History of Basket Coffee Filter Papers

Paper coffee filters became widely used following Melitta Bentz's invention of the paper coffee filter in Germany in 1908. Since then, basket coffee filter papers have become one of the most popular filtration methods for domestic and commercial filter coffee machines throughout the world.
